Odoo 17's Recruitment app publishes job positions to your website, gathers the applications into a Kanban pipeline per position, and turns the successful candidate into an employee record with one button. Interview questionnaires, stage emails and CV storage are built in. Recruitment, Website and Survey are all in Odoo 17 Community; electronically signing the offer needs the Enterprise Sign app.

Questions we get asked
Can candidates apply through the website in Odoo 17?
Yes. Publishing a job position creates a page on your Odoo website with an application form, and each submission arrives in the pipeline with the name, email, phone and attached CV already filled in. Applications can also reach the position through an email alias, and recruiters can enter them by hand for referrals, agencies and walk-ins.
Does Odoo 17 Recruitment include interview questionnaires?
Yes, through the Survey app, which is part of Odoo 17 Community. You build the interview form as a survey and attach it to a job position, then send it to the candidate or fill it in live during the interview. The answers stay attached to the application, so everyone on the panel reads the same record rather than swapping notes.
How do I turn an applicant into an employee in Odoo 17?
Open the application and click Create Employee. Odoo copies the name, contact details and attached documents into a new employee record and links the two, so the hiring history stays traceable from the employee. You then complete the HR side: department, manager, work address, working schedule and contract. The application itself moves on to the hired stage.
Can I reject a candidate without deleting the application in Odoo 17?
Yes, and you should. Refusing an application archives it against a refusal reason and can send the candidate a templated email automatically. The record stays searchable, so the CV is still there when a similar role opens and your recruitment reporting still counts the application. Deleting the record would lose both the CV and the history.
