Odoo 18 CRM keeps each prospect on one record — the opportunity — carrying the expected revenue, the closing date, the salesperson and the whole email and call history in its chatter. Teams work it as a drag-and-drop Kanban pipeline, quotations are raised straight from the opportunity once Sales is installed, and the built-in Pipeline Analysis report turns the same records into a forecast. CRM is a Community app.
Without a structured system to manage leads and deals, businesses leave money on the table. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) helps you track prospects, nurture relationships, and convert opportunities into revenue — while making sure no deal is forgotten or delayed.
With Odoo 18 CRM, it's easier than ever to create a streamlined, automated, and highly visual sales process that your team actually enjoys using.

Questions we get asked
Is Odoo 18 CRM part of Community or only Enterprise?
Odoo 18 CRM is a Community app under the LGPL, so leads, opportunities, pipelines, activities, lost reasons, lead assignment rules and the pipeline reports are all available without an Enterprise subscription. What Enterprise adds are separate apps around it, such as Studio for no-code customisation, Sign, Documents and Helpdesk — not the CRM itself.
Do I need the Sales app to send a quotation from Odoo 18 CRM?
Yes. The New Quotation button on an opportunity appears only once the Sales app is installed: CRM tracks the deal, Sales holds the quotation and the order. Both are Community apps sharing the same customer records, so installing Sales later adds the button without any migration, and the quotation's amount then feeds back onto the opportunity as expected revenue.
Can Odoo 18 assign leads to salespeople automatically?
Yes. Each sales team, and each member within a team, can carry an assignment rule — a filter on fields such as country, source, tag or expected revenue — plus a cap on how many leads they receive per period. A scheduled action applies the rules on a repeating basis and distributes unassigned records, and you can also run the assignment manually from the team.
What reports come with Odoo 18 CRM out of the box?
Pipeline Analysis is the main one: opportunities grouped by stage, salesperson, team, source or month and measured on count, expected revenue or probability, in pivot, graph, list or Kanban form. Alongside it sit a leads conversion view, an activities view and a forecast that plots expected revenue by closing date. Any of them can be exported to a spreadsheet.
How does Odoo 18 record calls and emails against a customer?
On the chatter of the opportunity. Emails sent from Odoo, and the replies that come back to the record's address, are logged there as messages, while calls and meetings are logged as activities you schedule and then mark done with a summary. Because the opportunity links to a contact, a colleague picking up the deal sees what was already said and when.
