Yes. Website is LGPL-licensed and ships with Odoo Community, so self-hosting it costs nothing in licence fees. Odoo Online also has a free plan limited to a single app, which is often the website. Paid themes and third-party modules from the Odoo Apps store are separate purchases and are not required to launch.
Can I run more than one website from a single Odoo 17 database?
Yes. Odoo 17 supports several websites in one database, each with its own domain, theme, menus, pages and languages. Pages, products and blog posts can be shared between them or restricted to one. Customers, orders and reporting stay consolidated, because there is still only one database underneath.
Does a website form create a CRM lead automatically?
Yes. The form building block lets you choose what a submission creates - a lead, a ticket, a message or a record on another model - and which field each input fills. With CRM installed, contact and quote-request forms land directly in the pipeline with the submitted values already on the lead.
What SEO controls does Odoo 17 give me?
Each page, product and blog post has a Promote dialog holding its meta title, meta description and social share image, with a preview of how the result will look in search. URLs are editable, and an old address can be pointed at a new one from Website, Configuration, Redirects. Odoo generates the sitemap itself.
Can I edit the HTML behind a page?
Yes, but not from the normal editor. Developer mode adds an HTML editor for the page and access to the underlying views, and custom SCSS can be added the same way.
