Can I schedule a post to publish later?
Yes. Every post carries a publishing date, and setting it in the future keeps the article off the public site until that moment arrives, while editors can still open and review it in place. Bringing the date back to today or earlier publishes the post straight away.
How do comments on an Odoo 17 blog work?
They are off until you turn them on: open the post in the editor and enable the Allow Comments option. Visitors then have to sign in before they can leave one, which keeps anonymous spam out. Comments arrive as messages on the post's record, so they can be read, answered or deleted from the backend.
Does each blog post get its own SEO fields?
Yes, the same Promote dialog a page has: meta title, meta description, a preview of the search result, an editable URL slug and a social share image. New posts are added to the sitemap automatically, and an old address can be redirected to a new one from Website, Configuration, Redirects.
Can I move an existing blog into Odoo 17?
There is no one-click importer. Posts are normally brought in with the standard import tool on the Blog Posts list, mapping title, body HTML, author, tags and publishing date from a CSV file. Whichever route you take, redirect every old URL to its new address so the rankings the articles already have survive the move.
